Baja - poco probable, seguro aparece en el próximo juego.
Déficit - menos acarreos en general, nulas jugadas de poder
Pronóstico - Limitación de jugadas participantes en 10-14 días mientras retoma confianza del apoyo en el pie. Sana al 100%

Jeremy Shockey, NO
Lesión - Hernia Deportiva, se realiza cirugía sin complicaciones
Baja - definitiva por 3-4 semanas.
Déficit - Ninguno mientras esté fuera
Pronóstico al regreso - Nivel de juego muy poco afectado, Sana al 100%

Ben Roethlisberger, PIT
Lesión - Hombro y Mano derecha, no hay fracturas
Baja - muy poco probable
Déficit - Las Águilas lo tronaron con 8 sacks pero no debe tener ningún problema para sanar en esta semana.
Pronóstico - Nivel de juego normal, tough it up, Ben. Seguro Mike Tomlin ya regañó a los OL y van a estar mas pendientes de Ben comoquiera. Sanará al 100%

AH y HOLA, por cierto, soy nuevo colaborador invitado por el staff de MR Playbook. Soy médico de profesión y aficionado a la NFL, fantasy football y *gasp* parlays. La experiencia médica me ha servido para ver una lesión en vivo y saber como los pacientes se van recuperando (y también viendo la NFL y sufriendo en el fantasy cuando los Injury Reports dicen q cierto jugador ya esta bien y no es cierto). Poco a poco detallaré lesiones de los jugadores, su conexión con su rendimiento en el juego, y su pronóstico.

The Pittsburgh Steelers sure know how to spoil their players, and you could call it spoiling them or you could call it a genius way of rebuilding a team and making sure you have a winning franchise in the future.

Not only did they sign Big Ben for 8 years and 102 million dollars contract, but also, he had expressed his interest for a big WR, what do they do? they draft big target WR Limas Sweed with the second round draft pick. They are not content with that, they also draft a great RB who has self described as the next LaDainian Tomlinson, Illinois Rashard Mendenhall comes up as a great backup to willie parker and another useful weapon on offense for Mr. Roethlisberger.

It sure does look like the organization is doing everything in its power for another super bowl run, and I would fear the steelers any season, this is one of the teams I like to call: wild card teams... they can play great all of a sudden and be a big competitor for the Playoffs every year...

Other teams in my opinion, that have earned this Wild Card tag recently are the Cleveland Browns, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tennessee Titans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Denver Broncos.

Big Ben Roethlisberger has just settled for a new deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers that basically includes a whopping 8 year contract worth 102 million dollars!!! seems like the steelers have found their franchise QB and have given Big Ben the second biggest contract in NFL history... lets hope he stays off the bike...
