Goodbye 'Air' McNair

Its been announced today that actual Ravens QB Steve McNair, will go live on television later today to officialy claim his retirement from the league.
Mcnair played 13 seasons in the NFL, including 11 for the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans and 2 for the Baltimore Ravens, he was co MVP in the 2003 season along with Peyton Manning, he ranks fifth all time in rushing yards by a QB and third all time in rushing TDs. he played the Super Bowl back in 1999 and lost by the infamous 'one yard' play.
Being a Jaguar Fan myself I always had trouble accepting Mcnairs greatness... but he truly was a great player, I remember a season where he was playing with at least 6 or 7 injuries in his body... he has truly made his image of a tough QB, similar to Brett Favre, this guy just never gave up even with all the injuries he had, hes been a warrior for a long time...

Its been an exciting journey and a great player will be missed... dam, thats 2 great QBs retiring the same season.

In my opinion... he was a good player, not a great one.
