Youre with me leather...

This phrase has become a famous quote all around the web and it is attributed to one of the greatest broadcasters of all time... Mr. Chris Berman. The quote came from a rumor posted on Deadspin, a famous sports website and the note read something like this... Back in the mid 1990s the Deadspin's editor claims to have been flirting in a bar with a hot girl with leather pants, but the girl had no interest whatsoever in him, after some time, Berman came in the bar and went to the girl and told her 'Youre with me leather', the woman immediatly got up and left the bar with Chris.

Chris Berman was born in Connecticut and joined ESPN only a month after its foundation. He is one of my favorite sportscasters and its a great experience seeing him narrate a game, even better, when he analyzes the highlights of the week... I always tell my friends that watching Chris narrate highlights is my way of visualizing how the late Chris Farley would've narrated games.

He is also well known for making sound effects while narrating, hes already made famous his trademarked woop! whenever a player does an amazing move on a defender... he also makes truck noises whenever a fullback is going for the end zone... but he is best known for associating fun nicknames to the players.

Here is a list of some of his most famous nicknames given to NFL players throughout time and next to it a short explanation...
