The start of the 2008 NFL season is still two and a half months away, and already the opening lines for the first week are out in Las Vegas, and some people think they are way out of line, other people think some are too low... lets see what you have to say about them, here they are :
Thursday, Sept 4
Washington (+4.5) at NY Giants) (Over/Under 40.5)
Sunday, Sept. 7

NY Jets (-3 at Miami (OU 36.5)

Jacksonville (-3) at Tennessee (OU 37.5)
Detroit (-1.5) at Atlanta (OU 42.5)
Seattle (Pick 'em) at Buffalo (OU 40)

Some interesting notes: The Kansas City Chiefs opening with a +15.5 spread over the Patriots might just be a plain insult to the team... Arizona and Detroit surprisingly are favorites on their opening games.... The former super bowl Chi vs Ind is now a 10 point difference game... without Favre, the experts still consider Green Bay better than Minnesota... the most expected game for week now is Dallas - Cleveland with a 3 point difference.

Seguirán poniendo a Dallas como espectacular pero nunca ganará campeonatos... y menos teniendo en su grupo al mejor equipo de la NFL. Esperemos puedan resolver sus problemas con sus jugadores si no va a ser una temporada complicada sin líder defensivo y con problemas fuera de campo (Plaxico, Shockey, Bradshaw).
