Oakland Raiders WR Javon Walker was found unconscious on a Las Vegas street Monday after apparently being the victim of a robbery.
Police spokesman Bill Cassell said in a statement that Walker was taken to a hospital with "significant injuries" after being found early Monday on a street off the Las Vegas Strip.
Cassell said Walker remained in fair condition at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
A Raiders spokesman said the team was "in the process of gathering information" and had no further comment.
Walker just signed a six-year, $55 million deal with the Raiders after being released by the Denver Broncos in February.
But there are rumors that Walker was seen at night spot Tryst at the Wynn... until 6:30 a.m... and that he was drinking... apparently a lot... spraying the crowd with some of the 15 bottles of Dom Perignon Rose champagne he ordered, that's about $1,000 dollars per bottle!!
About the injuries he suffered... he apparently has a broken eye socket and some bruises... these are the kind of injuries you suffer when you get into a fight... but we'll have to wait and see if anything of these is true or not... what do you think??

I hate to think its the work of an angry Bronco Fan.... bit i n this day and age... anything could happen.... poor guy
Poor Guy?? He was partying... got drunk, did stupid things like spraying champagne to everyone, and maybe somebody didn't like it and kicked his ass!!
He should be focusing on trainning camp... getting healthy to avoid another serious injury... but instead he's in Vegas getting wasted, I guess that happens when you give a lot of money to players that don't really deserve it.
hey maybe next time he invites Tony Romo.... this sounds like something hed like to do....
or Matt Leinart... hahahaha
He should mentor Matt Leinart in how to party!! go to Vegas and drink expensive champgne... instead of staying in Arizona and drink beer!!
