It has already been said that 8 teams have shown interest in injury prone former Cleveland Brown and New Orleans Saint center LeCharles Bentley, who asked for his release and got it last week. He is trying to make it back after being one of the promising centers coming out of the 2002 draft, and missing the two last seasons due to injuries.
A team that has made interesting offers for the center have been the Minnesota Vikings, who are always on the lookout for free agent good O-Linemen, remember the signing of Steve Hutchinson a couple of years ago? Their current center Matt Birk is entering the last year of his contract, so thats why LeCharles could be a good addition to the team.
Nothing is certain yet for the two time pro bowler, but its sure that he will probably get a good deal, even with his injuries, good centers are hard to come by and he is one damn good center.
